COPENHAGEN – Texas, take note: Denmark is proof that energy-producing economies can go green without committing economic suicide. Since 1980, the Danish economy has grown by 78 percent, but energy consumption has more or less stayed the same. The Danes have also reduced CO2 emissions. And Texas can do the same if we change the focus of our debate.
